Tess Bower Gist is the vocal music teacher at Jersey Shore High School and is an active choreographer and director in the area.  She is a regular on the CTL stage, playing leading roles in Jekyll and Hyde, Oklahoma!, Lucky Stiff, and most recently in The Honky Tonk Angels and My Way: a Tribute to Frank Sinatra

 

Jacquie Engel is CTL's Artistic Director of Musicals and works as CTL’s graphic designer.  Her CTL credits include Jekyll and Hyde, Cabaret, Beauty and the Beast, and I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change.  She also directs the ACT UP! summer youth musical at the Community Arts Center.

Marie Fox has been directing and teaching English,  Theatre Arts, Speech and Communications courses in the area since 1994.  She is the Drama Teacher/Director for WAHS where she has written and established the Theatre Arts curriculum.  In addition to directing main stage shows, she is the creator/director of the improvisation troupe “Without A Cue.”

 

Jaclyn Gilbert is a vocal music teacher at the Montoursville High School and has been involved at CTL for several years.  She played Belle in Beauty and the Beast, was one of The Taffetas, and was last onstage in My Way:  A Tribute to Frank Sinatra

 

 

Julie Hulslander first came to Williamsport in 1977 to teach at West Branch School.  Since then, she has taught theater and art, and has performed as a   storyteller and mime to numerous camps, schools and organizations in PA & NY.  Julia is currently teaching at St. Luke’s Pre-school.

 

 

Marisa S. Hickey is a choral teacher in the Williamsport School District and is involved both onstage and off at CTL.  She was one of the Honky Tonk Angels and was recently seen in Urinetown.  She is the music director for Footloose this summer at the Community Arts Center.

 

 

Gail Landers is a preschool teacher and has been  active in children’s theatre since minoring in drama in college.  She is a storyteller, often working with local libraries and children’s organizations, a CTL board  member and community volunteer.

 

 

Carol Schwanger has been the elementary general music teacher at Lyter Elementary in Montoursville, teaching grades Kindergarten through 4th, for 4 years.  Prior to that she taught in the Council Rock School District in Bucks County, PA.
