Potter Pals--2008
Grades K & 1 July 13-17 9 am-noon Instructor: Julia Hulslander $65 Come join the fun and use your imagination to become various characters. Through theatre games, pantomime, group storytelling, and re-enactment of classic tales, we'll turn "ONCE UPON A TIME..." into "ALL THE WORLD'S A STAGE!" Parents are invited to join the fun during class on July 17 at 11:30 pm.
Grades 2 & 3 July 6-10 9 am-noon Instructor: Julia Hulslander $65 Explore! Experience! Imagine! Students will develop their acting skills through improvisation games, pantomime, character development, and other basic theatre techniques. Opportunities abound for story re-enactments. There will be a performance for family and friends on July 10 at 12:15 pm.
Grades 2-3 July 13-17 1-4 pm Instructor: Julia Hulslander $65 "And the moral of the story is...." Although Aesop lived more than 2500 years ago, his fables are timeless. Come join the fun and participate in several fables. Theatre skills will be developed as the class prepares to perform for family and friends on July 17 at 4:00 pm.
Grades 4 & 5 July 6-10 1-4 pm Instructor: Julia Hulslander $65 A great way to introduce older elementary students to theatre. They will hone their skills through improv, mime, character development, and other basic theatre techniques that are fun for tweens. A short play will be the focus of the performance for family and friends on July 10 at 4:30 pm.
Grades 6, 7, & 8 July 6-10, 13-17 9:30 am-12:30 pm Instructor: Marie Fox $120 This workshop will provide participants with the opportunity to learn quick thinking and creative scene building skills through various activities in improvisation. Throughout the course, we will work towards a final performance on July 17th at 6:00 pm to demonstrate mastery of the improvisation activities.

Grades 2 & 3
We are out to create Broadway-Ready-Actors That-Sing! Using kid-friendly showtunes, these B.R.A.T.S. will improve their stage presence, vocal projection, singing techniques, and dance skills for a showcase at the end of camp. Session 1's performance will be July 24 at 12:15 pm, Session 2's performance will be July 24 at 4:15 pm, and Session 3's performance will be on July 31 at 12:15 pm.
Grades 4 & 5 July 6-10, 13-17 1:30-4:30 pm Instructor: Jacquie Engel $120 All of the creatures in Lindentown swamp lived together peacefully until Bully the Bullfrog came to town. Through this lighthearted musical, children learn that even bullies need to feel accepted and that music can truly be a unifying force--a force that can bring peace and love into the hearts of even the most difficult of adversaries. Parents and friends are invited to a performance of A Froggy Day in Lindentown on July 17 at 7:30 pm.
Grades 6, 7, & 8 July 27-31, Aug. 3-7 2-5 pm Instructor: Jacquie Engel $140 Boys are especially encouraged for this production!! ***Note: This class will require Tuesday evening and Saturday daytime rehearsals from July 6 to 18. Auditions will be held June 21 at 5 pm. The classic movie comes to life onstage as Mr. Willy Wonka leads a group of 5 Golden Ticket winners through his magical chocolate factory. Complete with all the songs from the movie, including "The Oompa Loompa Song," "The Candy Man" and "I've Got a Golden Ticket," this charming musical will delight family and friends of all ages. Tickets are 4 for $25 or $8 each. Performances of Willy Wonka Jr. are sponsored by The Comprehensive Financial Group and run on Aug. 7-9.
Costume making for Cinderella, Kids --2008 H.S. Vocal Intensive Grades 9 thru 12 July 20-24, 27-31 9:30 am-12:30 pm Instructor: Marisa S. Hickey $120 High school students with a serious interest in musicals and improving their vocal abilities will have a private voice lesson and 2 "master" classes each week where they will prepare individual and group songs to be performed in a recital on July 31 at 7:30 pm. (***Note: NOT a beginner course. Some experience necessary.)
