New to the CTL concert line-up, this group has played mostly in the Reading area, but has roots in Central PA. Playing all the great Fleetwood Mac tunes, this group really rocks.
THE CHAIN covers all the great hits of Fleetwood Mac, which has featured the talents of Mick Fleetwood, Christine and John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks and others over the years. The Fleetwood Mac story is an episodic saga that spans more than 30 years. It is the saga of a British blues band formed in 1967 that became a California-based pop group in the mid-Seventies. In between came a period where Fleetwood Mac shuffled personnel and experimented with styles, all the while releasing solid albums with chart topping hits such as Landslide, Rhiannon, Go Your Own Way, Don’t Stop, Dreams, Say You Love Me, Hold Me and many others. The five seasoned, well-respected musicians comprising THE CHAIN have been making music together in various combinations and styles, in original outfits and in cover bands, for over twenty-five years. It seemed only fitting that they should come together to form the Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute, and pay homage to a group that dominated the charts during the band members' formative years. Fronted by solo artists Kathy Phillips (vocals) and Scott McDonald (guitar, vocals), and supported by veteran musicians Kim Williams (keys, vocals), Randy Artiglere (bass) and Tom Nelson (drums), THE CHAIN takes its audience members on a sweet ride down memory lane. Authentic-sounding and always respectful, THE CHAIN leaves no stone unturned in replicating the sounds of one of the world's best-loved, top-selling bands.

Cathy Byham, Lucy Henry, Craig Weaver, & Tom Shellenberger are back as our favorite vocal jazz quartet serves up a helping of classic tunes and smooth harmonies.
V.J.Q. has been making a stop at CTL for the last several years and their popularity continues to grow. Cathy Byham, Lucy Henry, Tom Shellenberger, and Craig Weaver have been crooning together for more than a decade, creating their tight harmony sound reminiscent of “The Manhattan Transfer” and “New York Voices.” With original arrangements and classic charts, the night will mix top-notch instrumentalists and vocalists and will feature a mix of standard and jazz love songs.
“Since I Fell for You,” “Orange Colored Sky,” “Baby It’s Cold Outside” and “L.O.V.E.” are just a few of the tunes scheduled for the evening. Concert-goers might also hear “Dream,” “Every Time We Say Goodbye” and a few solo numbers by each of the performers.
Backing up V.J.Q. this time around are Melinda Sechrist on keyboards, Tim Breon on Guitar, Matt Radspinner on bass, Adam Wright on sax, and Bob Leidhecker on the drums.
V.J.Q. has opened for groups at the CAC and has sung at the Little League World Series and other festivals and fairs in the area.
The concert is set for Friday at 7:30 pm. CTL’s “Couple Special” price of 2 for $25 makes it affordable (even if your valentine is a cheapskate at heart). They can also be purchased individually, $15 for adults and $8 for students. Call 327-1777, weekdays from 11-4.
Get your sweetheart in the mood for love with a stop at the Community Theatre for the smooth, jazz sounds of the Vocal Jazz Quartet.

Bloomsburg’s best kept secret is coming to Williamsport as this 10-piece jazz group makes their CTL debut in Big Band Style. Horns, winds, and guitars will have you swing dancing in the aisles.
Some comments from last season's CTL debut of the Clickard Consortium....
"I enjoyed all the music and updated arrangements. An incredible musical experience. Do not miss this very talented group of musicians!"--Eileen Murphy, Williamsport
"We loved the Clickard concert. We are big fans of most types of music and their selections were great. The musicians even better. We hope you'll bring them back next year."--Nancy & Larry Tomack, Williamsport
"The Clickard Consortium was a great mix of the old and the new; the old tunes were dressed in new clothes! The new tunes...simply far out! Superb jazzers who gig superbly!"--Tom Shellenberger, Williamsport
